Sony Alpha a6400  is an APS-C-format mirrorless camera that embraces many of the capabilities often reserved for their full-frame series. It is stable, quick, flexible, and small. Thanks to the 24.2MP Exmor CMOS sensor and BIONZ X image processor, the clear picture quality is provided with a wide increased sensitivity range of ISO 100 to 102400. As well as quicker readout speeds for internal 4K24 and full HD 1080p120 video recording with complete pixel readout. The processor further benefits videographers with the inclusion of an S&Q (Slow & Quick) Motion setting that permits capturing Full HD video at a variety of frame rates ranging from 1-120 fps, plus HLG. Which supports HDR workflows, and both S-Log2 and S-Log3 for color grading flexibility. Stills shooters also benefit from the processing speed, which enables continuous shooting at 11 fps for up to 116 JPEGs, 46 raw images, or 44 raw and JPEG frames in a burst, as well as 14-bit raw file output.

Two extra-low dispersion elements help to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberrations to produce greater clarity and color accuracy.
One aspherical element helps to control distortion and reduce spherical aberrations for greater sharpness and accurate rendering.
Optical SteadyShot image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shakes for sharper imagery when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds. For more effective camera blur control, this stabilization technology may also be used in conjunction with certain cameras’ sensor-shift type image stabilization.
A linear autofocus motor provides quick and precise autofocus performance and enables accurate and silent focusing while recording videos. Additionally, a dedicated AF/MF switch allows for quick changing between focusing methods.

A minimum focusing distance of 1.5′ along with a maximum magnification of 0.29x benefits working with close-up subjects.
The rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality when employing selective focus techniques.
