The all-purpose mirrorless camera designed for high-end photo and video applications, the Nikon Z6 II, has been enhanced. It offers additional speed, versatility, and performance. The Z6 II maintains its well-known compact size and coveted image quality despite the extensive enhancements. Which is advantageous for professionals who create multimedia images.

Features

Larger buffer depth and a quick continuous shooting rate—up to 14 fps with single-point AF or 12 fps with other focusing modes—distinguish the Z6 II. Twin EXPEED 6 image processors and a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor power it. Video may be recorded at UHD 4K 30p or as high as FHD 120p for slow-motion output. And external recording provides 10-bit out in addition to N-Log and HLG (HDR) compatibility. With sensitivity ranging from ISO 100 to 51200 and in-body 5-axis stabilization. The sensor is suitable for working in a variety of lighting settings. For sharper handheld shooting, vibration reduction lessens the impression of camera wobbles. The sensor also features a 273-point phase-detection AF system. Which can focus in low light levels as low as -4.5 EV. Now it supports Eye-Detect AF in Wide-Area AF settings and during movie recording.

The Z6 II maintains its general physical form while balancing the images. A new dual memory card slot interface that can hold one CFexpress Type B card and one SD UHS-II card for more flexible storage has been added. For over-the-air software updates, remote camera operation, and image sharing to a mobile device, SnapBridge’s wireless connectivity can be employed. The camera’s high-resolution 3.6 million dot OLED EVF and rear 3.2″ 2.1 million dot tilting touchscreen LCD gives versatility to image composition and playback.

In addition to enabling raw video output to Blackmagic Design Video Assist external recorders and unlocking UHD 4K recording at 60p and 50p frame rates, firmware version 1.10 further enhances eye-detection performance when utilizing Auto-Area AF and Wide-Area AF modes.
